How the latest library and its worker work
wt-pdf-js-latest uses the npm @latest tag, which may change without a plugin update. Its initializer reads the loaded library version and pins the worker to that exact version, for example pdfjs-dist@6.4.299/build/pdf.worker.mjs.
Use a local asset for a predictable application. CDN loading requires jsDelivr connectivity and suitable CSP rules; worker creation may require worker-src permissions including blob: for the PDF.js wrapper. There is no automatic local fallback. Both complete viewers always use local build files; selecting the CDN asset on the parent page does not switch their library.
