WT PDF.js is a Joomla 5+ system plugin for displaying PDFs with PDF.js. It registers the library in WebAssetManager and includes viewers for newer and older browsers. This documentation covers version 6.4.299.
Install the plugin and register assets
Install the ZIP through Joomla. The plugin group is system; its element is wtpdfjs. The installer enables it after installation and updates. Check System → Plugins → WT PDF.js. Plugin parameters include separate instructions for user JSON profiles.
The plugin registers media/plg_system_wtpdfjs/joomla.asset.json on the frontend during onAfterRoute. Registration does not add JavaScript to every page: activate it using useScript() or an asset dependency. Administrator pages must register the file explicitly. Use WebAssetManager before the HTML document is rendered.
